THE COST OF FAME

There is no man that has power over the ruach to retain את eth-the ruach; neither has he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those את eth-that are given to it. את eth-All this have I seen, and applied את eth-my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man rules over another to his own hurt. And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity. Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner do evil a hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear ELOHIYM, which fear before him: But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he fears not before ELOHIYM. QOHELETH (ECCLESIASTES) 8:8-13 את CEPHER. This evening I watched JoJo Dancer your life is calling. A true to life movie based on reality starring Richard Pryor. One must look beyond the surface of the film to understand the cost of Fame that is awarded to many but at what cost? The strength of the body is remarkable and those who possess talent to sing, dance, run and jump is a blessing that many who lack it only pray to one-day harness. From athletes to actors, musicians to entrepreneurs, the world is full of individuals that dares to put their image on display to create a brand, platform and household name based solely of their gift that is turned into profit. JoJo Dancer rise to stardom was seen by those on the outside as wonderful but to JoJo it was the pain of success. The Alcohol and drug abuse was a noose constantly being tightened by associates, managers, spouses and family members whose financial well being was anchored to JoJo success. His success was both a blessing and curse like so many individuals that thrive to make the A-list squad where the velvet ropes and all access badges are granted and whims and indulgences are permissable. We have witnessed icons and legends dethroned and made a mockery of within mainstream media that were once shielded from prying eyes via sworn oaths and allegiances. These individuals enjoyed an unquenchable thirst for power like a Bugatti going from 0-100mph on the open hwy, and the carnal pleasures that is attached to name recognition. JoJo Dancer is like so many autobiographical depictions of celebrities that started from a dream of stardom only to face the reality of illusions and smoking mirrors. Therefore take heed lest you should forget YAHUAH ELOHAYKA and all his ways in the land to which you go, and should get connected with the people of the land and pursue vanity and forsake YAHUAH ELOHAYKA. But when you come to the land serve there YAHUAH, do not turn to the right or to the left from the way which I commanded you and which you did learn. YASHAR (JASHER) 29:26-27 את CEPHER. JoJo went from a small town of anywhere to the wide road within the big city of dreams and desires. JoJo went from an unknown to headliner where exclusive parties were accessable and party favors were passed around like candy on Halloween. But this is the ultimate sacrifice that many face during their pursuit to achieve heights above the clouds that only Bombardier Aerospace can accommodate. The destruction of innocence for the rise of privilege banner is hung above the door that leads to success and unbridled excessive behavior for the young and impressionable. Fame and privilege is a course study that needs to be attached to lengthy contracts along with a retainer to a qualified moral life coach and psychologist. The warnings are written in all the trade magazines and supermarket tabloids but brushed aside for lack of credibility and unrelatable circumstances. Examine all those who eyes seen untold stories and whose status reached the pentacles of mankind from humble beginnings. Through their eyes and lips, these individuals told a story that many could never imagine while straddling the fence of both salvation and corruption. All I’m trying to do is survive and make good out of the dirty, nasty, unbelievable lifestyle that they gave me. Tupac Shakur..

“Right, wrong, good, bad, heaven, hell. I think that is the theme of my life. I think you have to know both in order to honestly choose one. So I'm familiar with both sides of the fence.” DMX.

You can't teach others if you are living the same way. James Brown.

You can fool people. You can fool anybody anytime of the day, but you can't fool yourself. At night, when you go home, you've got to be straight up with you. Whitney Houston.

Many only see what the media and PR teams allow the public to see when profits are attached to the brand. JoJo brand was harnessed on the stage and on the screen but behind closed doors the fight between flesh and spirit waged a fierce battle that was uncontrollable.

All mankind is granted the ability to choose. It is human nature to sympathize when tragedy strikes someone who is idolized by millions. These individuals are engraved within our hearts but we are mere strangers and fans that support and enrich their brand. We accept their careers and lifestyles without limitations and follow their shooting star way after the light has disappeared into the darkness. We are the consumers of propaganda and the purveyors of keen marketing strategies. “I have found people on both sides of the aisle, white and black, that'll give you the shirt off their back. And I've also found people that won't give you a piece of bread if you're starving to death.” Al Green.

We choose to take the blue or red pill and sign on the dotted line for gated communities and around the clock handlers. JoJo wanted to cleanse his soil in fire only to realize that the consequence of his actions could never escape the pain within his heat.
